SERVICES
HOW I CAN SUPPORT YOU
Flow & Movement offers two distinct services. While both involve movement and personalised support, they are designed for different purposes and have different service requirements. Below you'll find all the information you need about the services available, package options, pricing, funding pathways, and important information to help you choose the option that's right for you.
Private / Self Funded (Introductory Packages & Ongoing Packages)
The introductory and ongoing packages are designed for clients who are paying for their own sessions. They provide personalised one to one experience to help you learn the fundamentals, build confidence, and progress at your own pace. No referral is required, and you can choose from one of the introductory packages or continue with ongoing sessions.
Some clients may be eligible to claim a rebate through their private health fund; however, coverage varies significantly between providers and individual policies. Being an Allied Health Assistant and not a Physiotherapist, your particular health fund may not provide rebates for Pilates services.
Please contact your health fund directly to discuss your eligibility and level of cover. Flow & Movement does not offer HICAPS claiming facilities. A receipt can be provided following payment, and any claims or rebate arrangements remain the responsibility of the client.
Allied Health Assistant (NDIS/ My Aged Care Therapy Services)
As a qualified Allied Health Assistant, I can also provide therapy assistance services as part of a prescribed Allied Health program. These sessions are separate from the private Pilates packages and are delivered in collaboration with your treating Allied Health Practitioner to support your individual therapy goals.
Sessions can be tailored to support movement, wellbeing, independence, and participation in everyday activities, in line with your prescribed therapy program and individual goals.
To access this service, I must receive written direction from your treating Allied Health Practitioner (such as an Exercise Physiologist, Occupational Therapist, or Physiotherapist). This ensures sessions are appropriate, aligned with your prescribed program, and delivered within the scope of your therapy plan.
Because Allied Health Assistance services have different funding pathways and service requirements, pricing is not published on the website. The number of sessions and overall cost will depend on your individual therapy program and funding arrangements.
For clients who would like an indication of costs, my Allied Health Assistance rates are aligned with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
If you’re unsure whether you may be able to access Allied Health Assistance through NDIS or My Aged Care, please get in touch for a friendly, obligation-free chat about your options.
INTRODUCTORY PACKAGES
These introductory packages have been thoughtfully designed as learning-focused movement sessions, with the goal of helping you develop confidence, understanding, and familiarity with the reformer before progressing to a traditional Pilates class or ongoing private sessions.
While each session incorporates movement and exercise, the emphasis is on learning rather than completing a full workout. Together, we'll explore body positions, movement patterns, common Pilates terminology, breathing, posture, and how to use the reformer safely and confidently.
By building these foundations first, you'll develop a greater understanding of your body and movement, allowing you to approach future Pilates sessions with increased confidence and ease.
BEYOND THE FOUNDATIONS
The introductory packages are designed to provide you with the confidence and understanding to begin your Pilates journey. For many people, these sessions are a stepping stone into studio classes, while others discover they enjoy the personalised approach of one-to-one sessions and choose to continue.
If you would like ongoing support, I also offer private one-to-one Pilates sessions tailored to your individual goals, movement preferences, and experience. Whether you're looking to continue building confidence, improve strength and mobility, support your overall wellbeing, or simply enjoy moving in a calm and welcoming environment, sessions can be adapted as your needs evolve.
There is no expectation to continue beyond your introductory package, the choice is entirely yours. My goal is simply to help you build confidence through understanding and find the movement approach that feels right for you.
Ready When You Are
Your movement journey doesn't need to start with a booking or the perfect appointment time, it can start with a simple expression of interest.
